Pensions Management Institute and NextGen announce partnership

The Pensions Management Institute (PMI) today announces a new partnership with NextGen in 2021. The two organisations will collaborate on a series of projects to inspire and give a voice to the next generation of pension professionals, as well as opening opportunities to learn and network.

One of the main initiatives will be a newly created conference – the PMI NextGen Conference – which will take place virtually on 11th May 2021. The conference will showcase new ideas and fresh perspectives with topics including cognitive diversity and attracting talent into the industry.

Commenting on the new partnership, Anna Copestake, Chair of NextGen, said: “NextGen are thrilled to have PMI become one of its valued industry partners. They’re all about ‘moving pensions forward’. We’re committed to giving fresh ideas a voice and helping new talent in pensions. It’s a perfect fit. Working together we can be a more effective force for change and space for our members to grow.

This partnership with the PMI is the latest in the series of NextGen collaborations with industry organisations, ensuring the voice of the next generation is represented as widely as possible.”

Gareth Tancred, CEO of the Pensions Management Institute, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for the PMI and NextGen to give the next generation of professionals across pensions, savings and investments more opportunities to learn and network. We look forward to creating a space for the future thinkers of the pensions industry.”
