Pensions Management Institute to implement new membership and qualification structure following consultation
The Pensions Management Institute (PMI) is to modernise its membership and qualification structure to ensure it is more aligned with a wider range of pension career aspirations. The PMI is to implement the new structure in the autumn following a positive response and engagement from members to its consultation.
Membership by Experience (EPMI) with Andrew Warwick-Thompson
The Membership by experience (EPMI) membership is open to senior professionals who do not have any PMI qualifications but can successfully demonstrate their professional competence and have a minimum of 10 years pensions related specialist knowledge. All qualified members are entitled to use the designatory initials EPMI.
In 2020, the world not only confronted the pandemic, it also sharpened its focus on the existential threat of climate change. An economic transformation is accelerating as more people focus on the global goal of net zero emissions by 2050.
Taking the Pulse of pensions: PMI’s 4th survey results
As we review the outputs from our 4th Pulse survey, we felt it may be worthwhile looking to see if any trends were emerging. The aim was to not only find out what the industry felt on key hot topics but also to ascertain if opinions regarding policy and The Pensions Regulator (TPR) were showing any movement. For the first time we feel we can look at trends developing and move forward with our Pensions Tracker.
