What’s on your 2021 trustee agenda?

Aimed at helping trustees/pension managers set their trustee agendas for 2021. With the positive outlook of vaccines and emergence from a COVID world, this session will consider two key topics for Trustees to consider in 2021, with practical guidance from our panel of experts.

ESG and Climate risk management will continue to be an area of focus for trustees. Trustees are once again called to action for improved governance standards, better measurement and transparency. New Climate risk reporting obligations, whilst initially focused on the larger institutions, will quickly apply to the wider scheme population. This session will help trustees understand their current obligations, and how these will evolve over time.

A revised DB funding code of practice is on the horizon with a new “twin-track” approach to compliance. Trustees will need to review, define and align Long Term Funding Targets with the Technical Provisions. This session will consider the investment implications of this new guidance, helping trustees to put a realistic strategic plan in place.
