Angela is a senior professional support lawyer within the Employment, Pensions and Mobility team at Taylor Wessing LLP, specialising in pensions law.

Angela has almost 20 years of experience in pensions and has advised trustees and employers on various matters including corporate transactions, duties in relation to pension schemes, compliance, scheme documentation, automatic enrolment and scheme data issues (including data protection).

She has also previously been part of an independent trustee team, managing FAS qualifying and other pension schemes, which has included project management and involvement in many of the practical aspects of scheme administration.

Angela is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and a committee member of the PLSA Central London Group.  She has also had various speaking engagements on a variety of topics, and writes regularly for the Taylor Wessing client publications.

Manjinder qualified as a Pensions Lawyer in 2006 and advised both employers and trustees on a broad range of pensions matters. Manjinder was also a Trusteeship Officer for three independent trustee companies. 

Manjinder joined ZEDRA Inside Pensions in April 2016 and provides secretariat and pensions manager services on a range of matters to a number of clients. Manjinder also carries out advisor reviews, with a specialism in legal advisor reviews.

Temi is a Pension Consultant focusing on secretariat and governance services alongside providing client relationship management as well as supporting trustee and corporate client special projects.

Temi started her career in pension administration over 20 years ago working in a consulting environment.  She has significant experience in providing day to day administration services to clients of varying sizes and uses her overall wider experience to support trustees in bespoke projects.

Temi is responsible for delivering pension secretarial and governance services to a variety of schemes and providing support to her clients’ trustee boards.  As trustee secretary, she supports her trustee boards to efficiently and effectively discharge their duties and meet their governance responsibilities.  She helps her trustee boards to make effective decisions by ensuring they have the right information at the right time and then ensuring that those decisions are properly implemented in a timely manner.  She is able to achieve this by applying her broad technical knowledge, practical experience and by working closely with her clients to understand their needs.

Her recent experience includes dealing with day-to-day scheme governance queries, assisting with member transfer requests, reviewing member communications and providing advice in relation to MND queries. Lucy also has experience of drafting various pension scheme documentation, providing advice on data protection compliance and advising on pensions issues arising from corporate transactions.

Beth Brown is a Counsel in Mayer Brown’s London Pensions Group. She advises clients on all aspects of pension law and practice, with particular focus on the insolvency, finance and governance aspects of pensions. She has undertaken secondments to the Pension Protection Fund and AstraZeneca PLC, London.  Her work has included advising trustees on employer insolvencies and transition to the Pension Protection Fund, High Court litigation and an innovative £1.6 billion buy in as well as day to day scheme matters. She chairs the PMI’s Award in Pensions Trusteeship Committee and is a member of the PMI’s Certificate in DC Governance Committee.

Natalie Mee is a Senior Associate in the Pensions Team at international law firm CMS. Natalie advises employers, trustees, insurers and pension providers on general pensions issues, governance and compliance, and the pensions aspects of corporate transactions. Natalie has a broad practice, including advising on benefit design, liability management exercises and restructuring, including asset-backed funding arrangements, as well as significant experience of scheme mergers and transfers. She has advised extensively on data protection issues for pensions schemes, including implementation of governance structures.

Natalie also advises on de-risking activity, including buy-ins and buy-outs, acting for both insurers and trustees on de-risking transactions. Natalie has wide ranging experience of advising on member disputes and Pensions Ombudsman complaints.

Her current areas of focus include forensic integrated risk management, diversity and inclusion on boards, digitally-enabled approaches to good governance and 21st century trusteeship.

Alex is a Senior Associate at an international law firm, Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP, and has specialised in pensions law for five years.

 Alex enjoys a broad practice and works with trustee and employer clients across a variety of sectors. He advises a number of trustee boards on day-to-day legal issues and also conducts a range of large-scale specialist legal projects such as liability management exercises, disputes, and scheme restructuring activity. Alex’s recent experience includes advising on a protracted scheme valuation process, assisting the sponsor of a large Defined Benefit scheme with an investigation by the Pensions Regulator, and on several scheme closures.

Alex also has a particular interest in pensions disputes, and has built a good base of experience in this area across a range of forums. His recent experience includes advising various clients on member complaints, and subsequent disputes before the Pensions Ombudsman, advising on two successful claims for rectification in the High Court, and advising a global brand on an on-going claim for rectification, and a claim for professional negligence.

Alex is a regular speaker at client training events, and the firm's international pensions conference. He has also previously spoken at the Local Government Pensions Manager Conference, and the Pensions Management Institute's annual conference. Alex is also an associate member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers, a committee member of the PLSA junior access committee, and a committee member for the Midlands branch of the Pensions Management Institute
