Roundtable: Employer Strategies for Pension Endgame Success

Roundtable hosted by Baker McKenzie LLP

As defined benefit (DB) schemes accelerate toward their endgame, employers face a complex landscape of strategic decisions. This roundtable will explore how to:

  • Optimise your approach to buy-in/buy-out transactions while mitigating legal and operational risks.
  • Identify and avoid common pitfalls and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with trustee boards, understanding their motivations and aligning on long-term objectives.
  • Manage surplus in a way that balances stakeholder interests and regulatory expectations.
  • Address other critical issues that may arise during the transition to endgame solutions.

This session will be highly interactive, offering a platform to share experiences, ask questions, and benchmark strategies with peers navigating similar challenges
