Raluca Curca is an Associate Actuarial Consultant who joined Hymans Robertson as a graduate trainee in 2016. She has worked on a wide variety of client projects since then across Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pensions, and has specialised in Governance Consulting, with a particular focus on risk management and governance change projects.

Liam advises trustees and employers on a broad range of issues in connection with both DB and DC arrangements.

He regularly advises on amendments to the governing documentation of schemes, reviewing and updating scheme documentation and interpreting pensions legislation and guidance. He also has experience in advising on and implementing DB scheme mergers and scheme closures, as well as advising on the pensions-related aspects of corporate transactions and the Pensions Regulator’s moral hazard regime.

Liam acts for a number of hybrid schemes with DC sections, which have assets up to £2 billion. Liam’s recent DC experience includes advising on transfers of DC sections in hybrid schemes to DC master trusts, providing on-going advice to DC master trusts and advising on compliance with new legislative and regulatory requirements in respect of DC benefits.

Lucy advises trustees, sponsoring employers and others on a wide range of pensions issues affecting their DB and DC pension arrangements.

Her recent experience includes dealing with day-to-day scheme governance queries, assisting with member transfer requests, reviewing member communications and providing advice in relation to MND queries. Lucy also has experience of drafting various pension scheme documentation, providing advice on data protection compliance and advising on pensions issues arising from corporate transactions.

Ciaran works alongside Dalriada's trustee representatives and provides actuarial support across a range of clients. In particular, he provides actuarial input on external actuarial advice obtained by Dalriada's trustees. He has considerable experience in operating our internal actuarial software system as well as managing asset transitions, asset-liability modelling and monitoring the investment performance of asset strategies.

Ciaran joined Dalriada in 2015 after graduating with a First-Class Honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Edinburgh and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2019.
