- Strategic Advisor

With an illustrious career spanning senior leadership roles in global asset management, international consulting, and insurance-based pension providers, Andy is considered an authority in the field of DC pensions and retirement savings.

In his most recent permanent role as Global Head of DC for Aviva Investors, he steered the £45bn DC franchise within the asset management arm of this market leading insurer, driving remarkable growth of nearly £10bn in just three years. Andy also played a pivotal role in shaping the future of Aviva Investor’s UK DC and post-retirement investment strategy.

As an active governor of the PPI (Pensions Policy Institute), Andy served as a founding sponsor to the influential UK Pensions Framework Project. This initiative enjoys robust support within governmental circles, with discussions underway to integrate the resulting PPI framework into a possible forthcoming pension commission.

In addition to his strong tenure in senior roles within asset management at JPMAM as well as Aviva Investors, he successfully led the market-leading pension provider business at Zurich, prior to its disposal under M&A to Lloyds Banking Group (Scottish Widows). His career path has also included significant periods in consulting, with notable stints at KPMG, Deloitte, and Mercer.
